Under 16? Not a drop

‘Under 16? Not a drop,’ is the new slogan drawn up by drinks companies and the hotel and catering trade to discourage underage drinking.

The slogan replaces the much-criticised ‘alcohol under 16, of course not’, which has been used for the past few years.
The slogan will be used in advertising and in bars, supermarkets and sports clubs.
Dutch teenagers are among the heaviest drinkers in Europe. Last year 337 young teenagers were taken to hospital with alcohol poisoning.
