FC Twente are also through to the knock-out stage thanks to a 1-1 draw against FC Steaua of Bucharest and an early goal by Fenerbahçe SK in Istanbul which halted FC Sheriff’s chance of denying Twente second place in Group H. For a match report and highlights, click here.
The draw for the knock-out rounds will take place at 1pm today. Ajax and Twente are in group 2, alongside Liverpool, Atlético Madrid and Everton. PSV Eindhoven, which is in group 1 and qualified on Wednesday, is in the draw with Juventus and AS Roma.
