Anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders is turning his back on a stunt by writer Nilgün Yerli to overwhelm him with flowers and messages of love.

Yerli and students from the Islamic university in Rotterdam have written hundreds of loving messages to Wilders, each attached to a bunch of flowers, which will be delivered to Wilders on Tuesday at the parliamentary complex.
The writer said she hopes the ‘tenderness offensive’ will show Wilders that he has her sympathy and love.
Wilders told news agency ANP he wanted no part in the process. ‘Let her give the flowers to a nursing home,’ the MP was quoted as saying.
