Traffic chaos following rush-hour crashes
Two serious motorway accidents brought chaos to the A4 and A2 during Thursday’s rush hour.
A lorry overturned on the A4 heading for Amsterdam, leading to the complete closure of the road between Leidschendam and Zoeterwoude. The motoring organisation ABWB said it will be at least 11am before the crash site is cleared up and drivers are being advised to travel via Utrecht.
And a 16km tailback has built up between Den Bosch and Utrecht on the A2 following another accident involving a lorry.
