The Hague anti-terror institute to open soon
The government is to give €2.5m to the new anti-terrorism institute in the Hague to fund the first five years of its existence, foreign affairs minister Maxime Verhagen said on Wednesday.
The institute, which will focus on the prevention and analysis of terrorism, will be housed within another organisation. Which one has yet to be decided.
After five years, other national and international sources of funding will need to be found, Verhagen said.
The institute is set to open in the spring.
