Police have begun investigating a possible murder in the fishing village of Urk following the discovery of the body of a 14-year-old boy in nearby woods.
The boy was reported missing by his parents on Tuesday after he failed to return home. The wood is currently sealed off while forensic experts comb it for evidence.
The boy’s body had signs of violence, leading police to believe he may have been murdered, news agency ANP said.
