Unions at chemicals giant Akzo Nobel have called on staff to take part in a two-hour strike on October 26, in protest at the breakdown of pay talks.
Talks on a new pay and conditions (cao) agreement broke down on Wednesday after unions and management failed to agree on a structural salary increase and redundancy package. A spokesman for Akzo Nobel told Nos tv no date had been set for a resumption of talks.
