A small plane crashed into fields near the Limburg town of Weert on Friday, killing two people.
The crash happened close to the Kempen airfield shortly after take-off, the paper says. The aircraft came down in fields and burst into flames, which took fire officers 30 minutes to bring under control.
According to news agency ANP, the plane was loaded with 1,000 litres of kerosine which will need clearing up.
