Restaurant owner killed in armed robbery
The owner of a restaurant in the seaside resort of Callantsoog in Noord Holland has died during an armed robbery, news agency ANP reports.
Three men burst into the empty restaurant at around 10.30 on Tuesday night and ordered staff to lie on the ground. It is not yet clear what killed the owner, who was physically attacked, but he was not shot, ANP said.
Twenty police officers are involved in hunt for the robbers.
