Airline Air France-KLM is to charge economy class passengers taking a second suitcase on transatlantic flights an extra €50 from November, website Z24 reports.

Z24 said the measure is a reaction to the baggage charges introduced by other airlines. Two suitcases on the return flight from the US to Europe will cost an extra $50.
Budget airlines such as Ryanair charge passengers for all hold luggage.
