A yacht has been found in the IJsselmeer lake north of Amsterdam with no-one on board, even though the motor was running, the Telegraaf reports on Tuesday.

Rescue workers were alerted by other sailors who witnessed the yacht turning circles close to the Frisian coast.
Thirteen boats and a helicopter were involved in a search for the crew – thought to be one man – but no-one was found. The search will resume on Tuesday.
