D66 on hunt for apolitical campaign song
The Liberal democratic party D66 has launched a competition to find a ‘catchy’ theme song which avoids sensitive topics and does not irritate voters for its local election campaign next year, the Volkskrant reports on Thursday.
But ‘given that D66 is a progressive party of renewal which wants change, it could be a good idea to write about this’, the campaign team says on the party website.
Three finalists will be chosen by a jury to appear at the launch of the party’s campaign on January 16. One winner will then be chosen. They get a day in a recording studio and a €750 cash prize.
