Stock exchange opens at over 300 points
The Amsterdam stock exchange opened 0.7 point up on Thursday following Wednesday’s 2009 record close of 304.25 points.
The two point opening rise was in line with developments elsewhere in Europe, as good news from the technology sector boosted stocks.
Trader Rob Koenders of Harmony Vermogensbeheer told the Financieele Dagblad he expected an upwards spiral in afternoon trading and a new record close.
