Heerenveen coach quits after poor start
Trond Sollied has quit as trainer of football club SC Heerenveen following the Frisians’ poor start to the new season.
Heerenveen have taken just four points from the first five matches in the current competition. According to Elsevier.nl, there were major cultural differences between the Norwegian and the rest of the club.
Sollied took Heerenveen to their first ever Dutch Cup win last season. This was his second season at the club.
