A 34-year-old woman went into premature labour and gave birth to a baby girl on the pavement outside a city farm in Zeist on Sunday, news agency ANP reports on Tuesday.
The woman, her parter and son had been visiting the city farm when she began having contractions. An ambulance team helped her give birth to ‘loud applause and whistles’ from the crowd which had gathered, friends of the woman told ANP.
Both mother and daughter, who was born slightly early, are doing well, ANP said.
