Industrial turnover and production continued to fall sharply in June, reports the central statistics office CBS on Tuesday.

Industrial turnover was down 25% in June this year compared to a year earlier. The reduction was in line with the fall in preceding months, says the CBS.
The latest downturn is largely the result of lower prices and was spread more or less equally between the home market and sales abroad.
The CBS also announced a 13% drop in industrial production in June this year compared to a year ago. This too was in line with preceding months.
