Electricity consumption in June fell just over 5% compared to the same month a year earlier, reports the national power grid operator Tennet on Friday.

Consumers have been using less electricity since January, according to Tennet. Up until then both commercial and household consumption had been rising.
The grid operator said it was unable to give reasons for the decline.
