Dutch film takes six awards in Locarno
The film Nothing Personal by Dutch-Polish film maker Urszula Antoniak has won six awards at the Locarno international film festival.
Lotte Verbeek picked up the best actress award while the film also took best debut, the international press prize and the youth prize, among others.
Nothing Personal is an English-language film set in Ireland about ‘two people who seek loneliness as the ultimate freedom’, Antoniak told the Volkskrant.
Antoniak graduated from the Dutch film and television academy in 1993. Nothing Personal is her first feature film and will be premiered in September.
