Court cases moved to local cafe

Wednesday’s hearings at the district court in Hilversum were moved to a nearby cafe when asbestos was discovered in the air conditioning system, reports the Telegraaf.

The asbestos was found during a routine control. Court officials decided to close the building to avoid taking risks and moved the day’s cases to a cafe on the opposite side of the street, the paper says.
Hearings scheduled for the rest of the week have been cancelled, according to the Telegraaf.
