Dutch orchestra conductor André Rieu is the world’s fourth best-selling musician following his last tour, reports the Telegraaf on Monday.

With a turnover of almost €40m, Rieu is number four on Billboard’s list of top 25 best-selling tours behind Madonna, Tina Turner and Britney Spears, says the paper.
‘It is fantastic news. We’ve worked very hard over the last 30 years to show as many people as possible that classical music can be fun. That was my mission,’ he is quoted as saying in the Telegraaf.
