Wind puts holidaymakers in hospital

Two Dutch holidaymakers have been hospitalised after strong wind tore through their campsite in the Czech Republic on Thursday night, flattening tents and bringing down trees, the Telegraaf reports on Friday.

The Dutch-owned campsite has been totally destroyed by the wind, which left many people injured, the paper said.
One of the Dutch victims has serious concussion, the other a suspected broken back, the paper quoted site owner Christiaan Bor as saying.
Parts of central Europe have been hit by heavy storms, which have killed at least seven people in Poland, the BBC said.
