Cheapest cafe terrace is in Nijmegen

Two beers, two soft drinks and two glasses of rosé enjoyed in the sun will cost €13.70 in Nijmegen, compared with €16 in Amsterdam, according to the annual Van Spronsen & Partners cafe survey, quoted in Wednesday’s Telegraaf.

Amsterdam is the most expensive out of 21 locations tested for the sixth year in a row, but prices have risen fastest in Enschede, the paper says.
Compared with five years ago, the price of a round of drinks has gone up €2 on average.
