The agriculture ministry should be banned from publishing a vegetarian cookery book because it is anti-meat propaganda, the Telegraaf quotes a Christian Democrat MP as saying on Wednesday.

Jan Ormel told Radio 1 that the money should be spent instead on an information campaign about the importance of animal testing.
The cookery book is due to be published by the ministry’s food information centre shortly.
