Social workers blamed in baby death
A four-week-old baby girl was battered to death by her parents because not one of the six social work organisations involved with her family took responsibility for the girl, the social work inspectorate says in a report out today.
Both parents have been given three years in jail and detention in a psychiatric clinic for killing baby Talysa in Rotterdam in 2007.
