KLM slashes fares to 80 locations

Dutch carrier KLM is cutting the prices of some plane tickets by up to 30% in an effort to fill seats.

‘Flying has become a lot more expensive recently,’ KLM Nederland director Bram Gräber told the Telegraaf.
‘We want to fill several tens of thousands of empty seats during this quiet period.’ The campaign, which involves 80 destinations, runs until the end of November.
