Inspectors to crack down on smoking cafés

Some 17% of cafes visited by food safety inspectors in July and August were ignoring the ban on smoking, news agency ANP reports on Thursday.

But 98% of hotels, restaurants and fast food outlets were sticking to the ban, ANP said.
So far, 218 official warnings have been handed out. Inspectors are now to step up their visits to cafes and bars.
