Finance minister opposes takeover panel
Finance minister Wouter Bos does not think the Netherlands needs a takeover panel along British lines to oversee acquisitions, reports Tuesday’s Financieele Dagblad.
The paper says Bos believes that a takeover panel is concerned only with the interests of shareholders whereas in the Netherlands the interests of all stakeholders in a company are important.
