TeleAtlas depresses TomTom
Satellite navigation systems maker TomTom saw net profit fall 24% in the second quarter of this year, but the fall was not as great as analysts had expected, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Tuesday..
The company blamed the takeover of loss-making digital map maker TeleAtlas which has been consolidated in its books since June 1. Earnings before interest and other write-offs rose 4% to €103m.
