Fire-proofing boosts Ten Cate

Textiles company Ten Cate, which makes artificial grass and fire-retardant materials, saw net profit rise 40% in the first six months of 2008.


Sales rose 20% to €510m. In particular, sales of fire-retardant clothing for soldiers boosted earnings, the company said.
