Dutch teens practise safe sex at 17

Some 50% of Dutch teenagers have sex for the first time at the age of 17, according to new research by sexual health organisation Rutgers Nisso Groep.


One in 10 boys and one in seven girls use no contraception the first time, but 75% of boys use condoms and 66% of girls are taking birth control pills, the organisation says.
