Bern ready for 50,000 Dutch football fans

The Swiss city of Bern has set up an extra area with big screens and capacity for 15,000 Dutch football fans ahead of tomorrow’s crucial Euro 2008 match against France.

Bern’s biggest square, the Bundesplatz, was home to some 30,000 fans during Monday’s 3-0 victory over Italy, but police expect the number of Dutch supporters in the city to reach up to 50,000 by Friday.
