The province of Flevoland wants to build the biggest onshore windpark in the Netherlands and is working on a plan for the accelerated realisation of the project, environment minister Jacqueline Cramer announced on Wednesday.
The windpark will have between 80 and a hundred 100-meter high turbines and will be able to supply 450,000 households with electricity. The project requires an investment of €500m.
