Bloemendaal tops house price list
The most expensive houses in the Netherlands are in Bloemendaal, says Monday’s NRC Handelsblad.
The houses in this coastal town about 20 minutes from Amsterdam sold for an average of €869,467 in the first quarter of 2008.
Second and third place went to the leafy Amsterdam satellite towns of Blaricum and Laren. Bottom of the list was Reiderland in Groningen where houses sold for an average of €104,929.
