The CBS said higher export volumes and stronger household spending were the main reasons for the revision. The second, more detailed assessment is published around 85 days after the end of the quarter.
Over the 12-month period GDP grew by 1.6%, its fastest rate since the first quarter of 2025. That figure was also revised upwards from an initial 1.3%.
The labour market improved, with an additional 15,000 employees and registered freelancers in the second quarter. The initial assessment said the total number of jobs had dropped by 8,000.
