Five public holidays in 13 days

A number of holidays and public events are set to take place over the next two weeks and most schools are now closed until May 14.

While government offices are closed on all public holidays not everyone gets a day off and supermarkets, museums and other shops may well be open.
The newsletter will not be published on April 30, May 1 and or May 2.
Forthcoming holidays:
April 30: Koninginnedag (queen’s day).
May 1: Hemelvaartsdag (Ascension day)
May 4: Dodenherdenking (Rembrance day)
May 5: Nationale Bevrijdingsdag (Liberation day)
May 11 and 12: Pinksteren (Pentecost)
