Ajax of Amsterdam remain league leaders despite drawing against their Rotterdam rivals Feyenoord 2-2 away.
Ajax and Feyenoord each have 25 points but the Amsterdam team has the better goal average.
Feyenoord, who were lucky to draw level in the second half though a penalty, missed two golden chances to clinch victory in the last minutes of the game with substitute Andwélé Slory first fluffing his shot and then shooting wide from close range.
A victory for third-placed PSV against AZ of Alkmaar would have put the Eindhoven team back at the top of the league. But PSV, one point behind Ajax, failed to capitalise on the opportunity, managing only a 1-1draw against a feisty AZ.
