PSV has tough task in Champions League

PSV Eindhoven will find it difficult to get into the Champions League third round, after drawing 0-0 at home in the first of two football matches against Turkish club Fenerbhace yesterday. Fenerbhace, the Turkish number four, was reduced to 10 men before the end of Tuesday’s game.

Half way through the group round, Italy’s Internazionale is now in top position with six points, followed by Fenerbahce with five, PSV with four and Moscow CSKA with one point.
‘The result of the away match will now be extremely important…. we have to score a lot [of goals] in Istanbul,’ said PSV coach Ronald Koeman.
