Retailers miss out €6bn worth of sales

Retailers are missing out on some €6bn worth of sales because they do not meet shoppers’ needs, according to a report by Boer & Croon.


The top excuses used by shoppers for not making a purchase are: item not in stock (33%), item sold out (24%), shop assistant cannot find the item (10%) and poor service (6%).
