Amsterdam has most rental houses
Some 76% of the houses in Amsterdam are rental homes, the highest percentage in the country, says national statistics office CBS.
In total, the Netherlands has 6.9 million homes, of which 54% are owner-occupied. Rotterdam has the second most rental homes at 64% followed by Delft and Groningen on 58%.
