Armed forces to recruit in schools
The armed forces are to begin a recruitment campaign in schools to overcome a shortage of personnel, general Hans Leigh told TV news programme Netwerk on Wednesday evening.
The combined forces require 7,000 recruits each year, but the target has not been met for years. Last year there was a 2,000 shortfall.
