Lorries account for 1 in 200 traffic jams
Accidents involving lorries account for one in 200 traffic jams on Dutch motorways, says the transport ministry, following reports that lorry-related accidents were behind increasing congestion. The number of serious accidents involving lorries fell 16% between 2003 and 2005, the ministry said.
