Gelderland to dig into dodgy land sale
The Gelderland provincial council is investigating a suspicious land sale near the village of Pannerden in which 1.4 hectares of woodland owned by the province was sold for a fraction of its market value.
The buyer has a name very similar to a provincial civil servant who lives next to the wood, ANP reports. The land was sold for just €14,000, a 20th of its value, local politicians claim.
