Clergy urged not to work overtime
The Dutch clergymen’s union has urged ministers not to work more than an average of 40 hours a week, saying structural overtime is not good for clergymen or their parishes, ANP reports. Because the nature of the work is complicated it is important ministers take time out to avoid burn-out, say director Tobias Bos in the union’s magazine. The union has 3,358 members.
