All volunteers working with children should be required by law to have a certificate of good behaviour (VOG), says the Dutch Association For Volunteer Effort, NOV. At the moment, sex offenders can easily come into contact with children via voluntary work, said spokesman Joost van Alkemade in Saturday’s NRC.
