Ziggo Sport wins all Dutch European football rights
Football fans in the Netherlands will only be able to watch European matches on commercial broadcaster Ziggo Sport from the 2024 season.
As expected, Ziggo Sport has won the exclusive rights for Champions League, Europa League and Conference League games for three seasons. Last week it emerged that Talpa and RTL had lost the Dutch rights.
The games featuring Dutch clubs will be available for free via the Ziggo Go app and Ziggo clients will be able to watch the most important matches on channel 14.
Ziggo Sport already broadcasts top flight Spanish, French, Italian and English football.
