Temperature dipped under zero overnight, and there is sunshine ahead

The temperature dipped below zero fractionally in Brabant in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the first frost after the summer.

A temperature of -0.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Woensdrecht, weather bureau Weeronline said. The first frost of autumn is usually recorded a little later, around the end of September.

The weather forecast for the rest of the week is for sunny spells and temperatures no higher than 20 Celsius, although there may be some rain on Thursday and at the weekend.
