The weekend will be mainly overcast with a small risk of showers and temperatures reaching the mid teens, according to weather bureau KNMI.

There is little change ahead next week. Monday will remain chilly, but there may be some sunshine at times.  Rain is more likely on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the temperatures will rise towards the end of the week, and Thursday could see sunshine mixed with the rain as the wind turns southwesterly.

The KNMI says there is a 60% to 70% chance of more of the same continuing towards the end of the month.
