‘I am not happy with the point,’ Ajax coach Erik ten Hag told reporters after the game. ‘Seen from a European perspective, it is a good result, but we are not not doing as well as we could.’

Ten Hag also said the injury caused to Anthony following a hard tackle towards the end of the game did not appear to be serious.

The draw, plus defeat by Liverpool last week, mean Ajax are third in Group D with just one point. Next week they meet Danish side Midtylland.
