Feyenoord thrash NAC to take second Dutch Cup final place

Rotterdam football club Feyenoord emphatically claimed their place in the final of this year’s KNVB Cup competition with a 7-1 win over NAC of Breda.

The Rotterdammers will meet Utrecht, who eliminated Ajax on Wednesday, in the final on April 19.

Feyenoord, who had a disastrous start to the season, brought in Dick Advocaat to restore order at the end of October after Jaap Stam quit.

Then 12th in the League, Feyenoord are now in 3rd in the Eredivisie and within striking distance of the leaders Ajax and AZ.
