Amsterdam football club Ajax are just one match away from qualifying for the knock-out rounds of this year’s Champions League competition, following a 0-2 away win against Lille of France.

Hakim Ziyech opened the scoring for the Amsterdammers just one minute 34 seconds into the game, the fastest goal in the competition so far. Quincy Promes scored the second goal in the second half.

Ajax are now two points clear at the top of Group H and a draw against Valencia will be enough to see them go through. Valencia and Chelsea are level pegging on eight points.

On Thursday night, Feyenoord of Rotterdam take on Glasgow Rangers in the Europa League.
